The State of Being

I took a much-needed break from things after working so hard the last few months on getting the site together, but I'm back. I have company coming this weekend for At-Home Con, an event we put together as a kind of weekend theme party, since we couldn't make it to any of the many great gaming or comic book conventions this year. Aside from that, I have the blogs to keep-up with, but then there's a gulf where a social or personal life should be, and I fill that by working on The Weirding.

There's some truth to that, no matter how humorous, but I am, afterall, a webmaster, and I have things to do. I spoke with comics auteur, J. M. DeMatteis, and have that interview to publish; I am speaking with several other luminaries in the comics field and others; I have the Simple And Free Engine to get together, as we're hoping to playtest it during At-Home Con; I have updates to Dark Conspiracy; I'm starting on Cyberpunk (finally) for this Winter; and there are at least a dozen other tweaks and projects in the works.

I'm having serious issues with my mouse and see online where many others have had similar issues and there is no work-around. It's making my shoulder hurt terribly, so I'm limited as to the time I can spend at the computer. However, I got a new chair yesterday that is going to help; I can already tell a difference in my neck and lower back.

There's a lot going on, and a lot coming-up, but as always, there is no ETA for anything; it's catch-as-catch-can and I'm doing all I can do on this end. Keep checking back over the next few months, as I roll-out new material and tweak published pages.
