As has happened numerous times over the last couple of years, lightning struck my computer and destroyed it, destroying with it everything I've been working on for the last year or more. I can get it placed onto CD or slave the hard drive to the new computer if it has the right connections, but either option is a major undertaking that I simply have neither time nor money to undertake right now.
I got a new computer - refurbished, but new to me - and have been working on installing all my programs and updating everything the last week or so. Then I bought Sims 3 and have done absolutely nothing but play it all weekend long. I could say something about it being a holiday weekend, but I would have spent the days playing Sims 3 even if it hadn't been, so there's no real point.
I haven't been able to even entertain the notion of updating or adding new content, so I haven't posted anything here in a while. However, I got the programs installed on this box. I do not have the old files, but I do have some basic stuff. After a few weeks of getting things together, I'll get back to work once again.
