As though I don't have enough on my plate, I finally went ahead and opened-up Can't Call Mom. It's a how-to guide aimed at the younger set who are living on their own, generally for the first time. A lot of the articles will be pretty basic stuff - how to determine which vacuum bag to use, insulating your water heater to save energy, and more - but there might be a few things you can pick-up too. I plan on posting a lot of recipes, as I apparently cook differently from most people to whom I've spoken.
Can't Call Mom is now live, though it will be a bit of slow-goings as I get it together. It is not directly affiliated with The Weirding, except for me. However, part of the thrust is that I am a bachelor and a gamer, and many of us live alone or face situations where we could use a little help figuring out how to accomplish household chores and life tasks - I sure do, which is what gave me the idea for this site! - so there will definitely be posts aimed at that set and lifestyle.
