Hulu started running Pamela Anderson's old sit-com, Stacked, a night or two back when I left it on. I could have sworn this show was on Spike! in the early 2000s, but it turns out I was confusing it with Stan Lee's Stripperella. Stacked was on FOX and, like most everything on FOX, never got a chance; it was on for all of two seasons, with the first one being short. It was also on a mere six years ago... I mean, that is a long time ago and all, but not as long ago as I'd thought - I really did think it had a two or three year run on a cable network back in the late-1990s to early-2000s.
Shows like that vex me for no reason at all.
As you can probably tell, I have The Blahs. I can't sleep, I have energy, and I want to be productive, but there just isn't much to do that I really feel like doing other than housework. So, instead, I'm here babbling to give myself the false impression of productivity. However, I did so much this last month that I deserve some time off and I'm forcing myself to take it so I don't burn-out before the big October push.
Which is why I'm being vexed by shows like Stacked.
Oh, one thing I wanted to say about it: Pam Anderson is not as bad an actress as one might expect. In fact, the show isn't that bad at all, and I had no idea Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) was in it! Granted, it's little more than one paltry sex quip after the next, but the characters are likeable and the action clicks along, so it's definitely a decent watch for days when you have The Blahs and don't feel like cleaning your messy house.
